Some characters are eventually forced to make huge sacrafices only to wonder if it was all worth it whereas others dream of things that are way out of their reach. With all sorts of characters of different personalities and backgrounds interacting and trying to make the best of themselves and if possible each other. Both these shows are very character-driven. How they deal with them and try their best to make them happen, how they sometimes doubt the path they are going down, and even how certain characters end up getting crushed under the weight of their own ambitions.
#Gungrave dub series
Both these series show characters and their hopes and ambitions for the future. While a series about junk collectors in space and a cold-blooded ganster drama sound like night and day, both these series one theme that's prominently featured in nearly every aspect of their storytelling: Ambitions. Though I don’t think that every Gungrave fan like Cowboy Bebop read more So there is a pretty big chance if you’re a Cowboy Bebop fan you will enjoy Gungrave as well. But it is kinda difficult to explain (sorry).

ending of an episode: This is maybe more personal but They ending of an episode is approached in the same way. This brings a total different story where impressions and emotions does more than words!

mysterious characters: Both main characters are kinda mysterious because they don’t talk that much. Good persons but seen as bad guys: Lots of the personages are good in our point of view but in reality almost no one thinks good of the maffia or bounty hunters there. But this aspect is way better in Gungrave. Friendship: The friendship between the characters is so beautiful to see. where Jazz and Blues is used in the right way. Jazz, Blues: They both have an extremely good OST. Guns also plays an important part in both of the fights of these stories. fights and guns: the fighting style is almost the same! both has incredibly amusing fight scenes that doesn’t take long and doesn’t make the story on its own. Seinen: there both seinen stories so it goes a bit slow but it is soo beautiful.
#Gungrave dub how to
Gungrave and Cowboy bebop has so much alike that I even doesn’t know how to start! Either way, they're both satisfying in their own right. However, if you want something that adheres to the subgenre with a bit of a left-hook coming in the form of supernatural elements, then go with Gungrave. If you want the bread and butter of the mafia subgenre, go with 91 Days. The only tradeoff for watching either boils down to how much fantastical elements you're looking for.

With muted color-palettes, earthy tones, realistic character designs, and an invested attempt in taking cinematic cues from films that inspire it these entries are something like gift-wrapped viewing bargains. They center around the inner-turmoil of the mafia families on display, and in some capacity, also have a frenemy relationship occurring between the two main characters involved. The usual themes revolving around family, loyalty, revenge, and corruption are omnipresent. Out of all the mafioso inspired anime entries out there, these two come the closest to capturing the very essence of the subgenre.
